Excellent sound quality. Light enough to move when needed. The keys feel good. A little more expensive than the keyboard, but better quality.
As****eMeets all our needs for an enjoyable piano playing experience.
F***aperfect! Started learning piano again and wanted to weight the keys and realized that my second hand old real piano was really not a good idea to learn from. I originally purchased the Roland Go, but the key spring resistance was too strong and there were apparently no weights. Did a lot of research and considered a Yamaha 125, but my teacher prefers this because she has the "feel" of the 125! So very happy now and if I stick with it I will upgrade later.
Jen******ittI haven't had a piano in many years but have always resisted the idea of using a keyboard. I recently played with this at a friend's house and now bought one for myself. It's perfect, I've never played a keyboard that felt so much like a piano. So, very happy.
Der******bsIt was with some trepidation that I purchased this faithful 30 year old Clavinova and it did not disappoint. Yamaha demonstrates consistent excellence in every aspect. Many of the tones were improved (such as the pipe organ), as were various other facilities. For a base model, this is really, really good. This is a base model and I'm sure I would be more excited if I could justify a drop-in replacement for my Clavinova. However, I am not at all disappointed with this very nice instrument and would definitely buy it again.
Na****aIt's perfect for beginners and intermediate pianists who want to learn to play piano or improve their skills. The P45 is also a good choice for traveling musicians who need a portable instrument that's easy to set up and play. Here are some of the features of the P45: 88 weighted keys with Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) action 128 sounds and 100 rhythms 64 tone polyphony USB audio/MIDI connection Headphone output Built-in metronome and recorder Compact, lightweight design
L**aEspecially suitable for beginners, the quality is very good. While it's not very loud, it's definitely a favorite. Be respected.
S***tThe quality is amazing. The weighted keys feel like a real acoustic piano. I'm surprised they can do this at this price.

Ye****rThis is my first time upgrading an electronic keyboard piano. As my playing got better, I realized I needed something more advanced. After a lot of research I chose this one and I'm very happy with it. I recommend you also purchase the Yamaha L85 mount. The piano is heavy and requires a suitable stand, which also helps make the whole setup look great. It also comes with a 3-month Flowkey subscription. I use Simply Piano, but the combination of the two apps has really helped me progress faster.
