Easy to put together (good instructions too if required). Easy to start pull-cord. Not too heavy to move around a medium-sized garden. Easy to adjust the cutting height. Lawn-mowed in record time. It's even photogenic.

Got this during the Amazon April sale with a £92 discount. Easy to set up with the YouTube guide. I used Aspen with Briggs & Stratton additive. Fantastic machine (so far).

Our garden is fairly large and very uneven, being reclaimed field and we have had lots of moles over the years so it’s lumpy. This mower handles it all very well. The large rear wheels are excellent for getting over the bumps and it has plenty of self drive power. The cut height range is very good and easy to adjust. It starts reliably and seems reasonably economical. The folding handle is very useful for storage. No real complaints!

Following my initial review I have had the opportunity to get to know this mower better. The past, long, hot summer did not do much to test the Hyundai mower, but now, in November I am able to test its full range of capabilities. Our previous mower was an expensive Honda, very reliable but with a roller which made it hard work to maneuver. Unlike the Honda, I often don't even bother to use the power assist on flat level ground. The Hyundai is much easier to get around corners, and the mulching capability not only helps to reduce the amount of grass clippings, but now comes into its own shredding fallen leaves that will compost easily of can be used as a suitable mulch on beds. I spread the leaves roughly over the lawn, then with the mower blade in its highest setting and the mulching plug in place shred the leaves after which I remove the plug and collect (vacuum) the result with the bag in place. My only reservation is the mower switching off every time I have to remove the bag, a safety feature, but an annoying one. So far this mower has proved to be versatile and reliable. and great value for money.

New Hyundai HYM510SP arrived today. Assembly was quick and easy. Anyone with a bit of DIY skills can easily put it together without even looking at the instructions. The instructions in the manual are clear and concise. There is a quick start leaflet with the mower, but you need the eyes of a hawk to be able to read them. The mower does come with a bottle of oil, so you don't need to order any at time of purchase. After putting oil and fuel in I tried starting it, and it could not have been easier. Few pumps on the primer button, and one pull on the starter cord and the mower started first time. So far very pleased with the mower.

Great mower,cuts very well,first use a little hard to start but just needed to prime a little more but once started cut the lawn in record time,not to heavy for older person to handle,very pleased and would recommend.

Lovely mower. Powerful 196cc engine and starts with ease. Looks well made, time will tell how reliable it is? But impressed with it so far. Love the mulching function. No more grass cuttings to deal with as they get chopped up finely and fed back into the lawn.

I have used this mower about 8 times over the summer and it has performed flawlessly and cuts extremely well. Starts every first or second pull and even though the grass box looked a bit smaller than my old mower it seems to compact the grass very well meaning that for my 70m by 12m lawn I only need to empty it a few times for a bi-weekly cut during summer. The self propulsion is very good with excellent grip by the large back wheels, the speed is a bit slow for my liking but I notice that other reviews have said it’s a bit fast, so that means they have probably got it about right. The build quality seems good. Highly recommended.

I had to get a new mower, as my old one stopped working after many years of faithful service. I have a Hyundai car which I love, so I went for Hyundai because of the brand. I chose a 51 cm cutting width as my garden is fairly large and I wanted a self propellered one. I did not go for self starting, as I felt maybe that was one thing that might break after a while and I didn't feel it was worth the extra money. When the mower arrived this morning, I was so excited I had to assemble it straight away - very easy to do. Oil and petrol in and the mower started immediately like a dream. The self propellering system worked perfectly. The only couple of things my old mower had which this one does not, is that the grassbox is smaller on the Hyundai, and also the handle is not easily collapsible for easy storage (at least I couldn't find a way to do it). Now I just have to see how it's going to prove itself over the summer - I think I'm going to love it!

This is one beast of a mower, I'd recommend this for large gardens only. I've not had it running yet because I didn't want to have to ' winterize ' for the start of the season ( empty fuel out blah d blah ). First impressions are good, build quality looks sound ( all the labels are straight ), easy to assemble, instruction book is in english only, so you don't have to thumb through a multi language book ! I'm not a fan of bending over the handle bars to save space, I find it can damage the cables, so I'd disconnect them first. Single lever height control works well, all the bits are there for your 4-1 opps, I took the blade off to sharpen I think they loctite it at the factory because it was a bit of a struggle.
