These are the best headphones I have ever and will ever own. The noise cancellation is absolutely incredible, it is very easy to connect them to different devices, you can put covers on every part of it if you want to, and I absolutely love them. They feel weightless when you put them on and they extend for larger heads. They don't start falling off when you walk, run, eat etc. and I just really recommend these headphones. The price might be scary but it is absolutely worth it in my opinion. They're great for when I start feeling overwhelmed and need quiet or when I need loud music playing. I have nothing bad to say about them, they are incredible!

Pau*******anouLet's face it, these are by no means cheap. So you expect the best from the best. I ordered these and got same day delivery. Opened the box and noticed the Apple Box was not wrapped in cellophane. There was also some grubby marks on that spectacular white box. The headphones looked fine with no issues, until I accessed the settings on the phone. I noticed the 60 Day Applecare+ was sitting at 55 days. Then it dawned on me. This pair had been used and sent back and resold. So before you allow the over worked, time strapped courier to scuttle away, open the huge Amazon box they come in (so much for reducing the packaging footprint) you should be presented with another brown box with the battery warning label, and then that 'SEALED' cellophane AirPod Max box. If all is in tact let him go to his next delivery, if not refuse delivery. Once you get them out, and connected check the free 60 Day Applecare+ is still in tact in the settings menu. If so you are good to go. If not contact customer service and ask for a replacement to be sent out, and the ones that have been used to be collected by a courier, while you're at it ask for a £5 credit to your account for inconvenience. Shame on you Amazon! Now the headphones. These are not the type of headphones for stoating about with, or walking the dog, or going for a walk to get your steps in, no, these are for sitting in your garden/flat/house/ or travelling with. They are heavy, but not too heavy to cause fatigue to the head or neck. They sit comfortably on the ears and head. As for the sound, each person has differing tastes, so it would be wrong to impose my opinion. However, having used Shure SE535, Sinnheiser Momentum 2, Bose QC25, Beyer Dynamic, and Sony, these are the best by far for playback that I have heard in a long time. I use these with Spotify and a quick tweak of the equaliser gets them to my music palate. Well done Apple!

deb*******ahamThis might be a long review for some so I will wrap it up at the end, anyway this is the 2nd time I have bought the airpods max and the 1st didn’t really go down well for the following reasons, I bought them for £450, so not full price which was okish at the time as they hadn’t been long released, I already owned the Sony wh 1000xm3 s, now replaced with the xm4 s, which are of excellent sound and noise cancellation and deserve the high praise they get everywhere, so when I got the Apple maxs I didn’t feel blown away by them, they weren’t any better than the Sony for noise cancellation although good and I didn’t get the spacial sound, I think I was worried that I was to me a lot of money and not much difference, then I fell asleep with them on and as I was lying at an angle I woke up with a damaged inner ear, at this point I decided to bail out and sell them to someone else who might love them, so after abit of a loss they were gone, the ear damage lasted about 2 months and I never wanted anything more to do with them, this was the end or so I thought but since then I have secretly longed for them, as spacial sound has become more popular and I do own, the airpod pro s and airpods 3rd gen, so I do love the Apple sound which is different to the Sonys , which I also love, so based on all my previous experience and looking at them over and over again, I have bought them again ( Amazon warehouse £371 and immaculate ), so now I know all what not to do, fall asleep at an angle . So to sum up yes they are heavy , yes the case is stupid, no I would not pay full price, yes I love the sound and transparency mode, if I only had money for these or the Sony 4s I would buy the Sony as they are more versatile and edge the max s out, but if you’re lucky enough to have both or don’t like the Sonys then you shouldn’t be disappointed

She******kerHonestly these are expensive yes BUT they are amazing I work in a factory very noisy and I can hear my music perfect with noise cancellation and it's brilliant. The only thing that isn't great is phone calls they are very quiet but that don't bother me at all. Music and TV they are amazing
