Bought the 6' x 6' and erected it ourselves. The roof was a bit tricky and we really struggled to do it by following the instructions. We ended up fixing the roof together on the lawn and taping it to stop it coming apart. It then took 3 of us to lift it onto the shed and fix it in place. We must have done something right as we've not had a single leak in all the time it's been up. We were really pleased with the end result and it's still going strong a year later. We have a padlock on the doors but I'm not really how secure the doors themselves are as they are quite flimsy and wouldn't keep anything of value in it, just in case.

Great product arrived on time and eel packaged with no damage. Took my self and my partner about an hour to put together. The instructions re clear and the parts are well marked. The only tip i could give i to keep all the screws separate, we used takeaway tubs as the screws are not all the same size. We used an electric screw driver but an manual Phillips head would have done also as the screws went in easily. All in all a good product for e price all neighbours have commented hoe good i looks and you save money in the long run b not having to replace roof felt and of course painting .. Mostly a one man job until yo get to the roof as it can be fiddly. I would advise removing the light slat in the middle before slotting in the panels.

I wanted a tool shed for my garden tools and lawn mower. The Keter shed was the perfect size to fit between my garage and greenhouse. It had to be installed in place which meant that I could no longer get to the sides, but could reach the back thought my neighbours garden. I worked alone, starting soon after it was delivered around 11:30, and had it finished 4 hours later just as it was getting dark. All I had to do the following morning was fit the 2 internal shelves. The shed has been completed with the exception of a couple of screws half way down each side as they are out of reach! Overall very pleased with the shed and ease of assembly.

Was a bit doubtful of the plastic construction but decided to buy it on the back of the good reviews. It came all nicely packed in two boxes. The assembly instructions are very good and clear. material are plastic and initially do not look very strong but when is all assembled and "puzzled" together it becomes quite sturdy. It also looks nice (it passed the ultimate "wife" test). It took me a while to get the ground leveled but it was time well invested and the floor sit quite nicely and is not that strong, so if it lacks support or is uneven I would expect it to crack... so be aware. It is better to assembly with two people although it might be possible to be done with one... I did not try it and I would think some parts might be very tricky to put together single handed, mainly when slotting the side walls and the roof panels in place. Door are easy to put together and works nicely. It comes with the option of two small / 1 full length shelve but they look plastic and not very strong so I passed on them and will buy a heavy duty set of shelves. Also it does not have any obvious way to fix hooks or fixing in case you want to hand stuff like garden tools in order to save space. So overall very pleased with the buy and would recommend.

Really happy with this shed, from delivery (came on the day we specified) to ease of construction, carried out by my partner with assistance from myself. Against advice, we completed this on a windy day, so it probably took longer than it should have, and there were a few hairy moment when we thought the whole thing was going to take off, but nevertheless the job was completed within a few hours. I'm sure it would have been easier without the wind! There was some damage to the ends of the roof panels, but we used them anyway, then negotiated the company's website to report them. There was no feedback online, but some weeks later I got an e-mail to say that a replacement was on its way, so we will be able to swap the worst one - and we don't have to send the damaged one back, thankfully! The shed in use is great - there's a clear panel in the centre of the roof, and a small window which are adequate for daytime, and it doesn't get too hot, but it is used for storage so we're not in there much. It holds everything I need it to - a lawnmower, various garden tools, folding chairs etc, bought a Garden 2 Shelf Tool Tidy by Garland to hold spades, fork etc. It's maybe not as attractive as a wooden one would have been, but I have plans to tart it up with string solar lights and a few plants, when I get round to it.

The shed is great. Both my sons started assembling it, but as one of the went to work, the other completed is ie erecting the rest of the sides roof using the instructions that came with it and relied heavily on YouTube. Admittedly, he would have struggled and be more frustrated if it weren’t for the video. The only very small thing is putting up the shelf as it doesn’t seem have a way of securing it in the middle as 1 long shelf as it cannot hold any weight (perhaps a pen or two) without slipping down at an angle, even the videos doesn’t not show how it is made sturdy, it just shows putting it in place. So would appreciate any ideas on securing it for proper light use. As a tip, based on my experience the roof MUST be screwed in place to the body of the shed using a power drill, and MUST be assembled in the order as instructed, if not, it will be difficult and time wasting to go back to start again. Assembly to my son about 5 hours to complete with time watching videos and following them. Lastly, the shed endured heavy rain with strong winds and survived with no water leakage. I’m happy with this purchase and sturdiness performance so far. I’m looking forward to many years together, with light maintenance wash with water if anything. Btw, I chose this Keter shed for its durability and low maintenance (if any) due to my limited mobility which would unable me to do the upkeep required for metal and wooden sheds. I hope my experience (lengthy description) will be useful to someone else.

The shed was great value for money. Easy to put up with little tools needed. I would recommend this shed to anyone. You need to have a solid base first.

I bought 6 ft x 6ft version of this Shed.. The manufacturer advises that 2 people build this shed. I would recommend that, if only for Heath and Safety, holding Panels in place, Ladders etc. Although i ended up building it myself I was let down by my son; in truth I did it with out too much difficulty. I found the instructions inside to be very clear, and concise, in English. I have lost count of the times i have bought something for home assembly, only to find photocopied Chinese instructions inside. And literally had to build it on what I think goes where etc. A tip, I always grab a few Cereal Bowls from the Kitchen cupboard for home assemblies, I put all the screws + Fittings in different bowls straight out of their little hermetically sealed plastic bags. Putting the parts i will need earliest near the front, parts i need last near the back .Never mix them up. Fail to prepare = prepare to fail. Never lob all screws in one Bowl, fatal mistake. They might look similar, they are not, and they have different threads/lengths for a different purpose As I said, assembly was very easy, because of the clear instructions.. The biggest challenge was slotting the roof sheeting in to place along the centre piece. Only because it was awkward sliding it fully in to place along the groove .I wouldn’t advise trying to knock it in to place. In the end I put the lip in to the beginning of the groove at the front of the shed, slid the sheeting along the groove, where by it was fully in place by the end, in truth it wasn’t too hard. I used an electric screw driver on the floor panels. I also tightened all the plastic Screws on the side Panels even further after assembly with a Pair of Pliers. Finger tight just didn’t feel safe enough to me. At first I was a bit annoyed, the Doors were sticking on opening, and shutting after assembly. Now it has stopped completely and the Door open and shut without problem. I put that down to the fact, these plastic Sheds are made in bulk, packag

This purchase was made to replace a traditional wooden shed, with the attraction of low maintenance. The shed is as sturdy as any average wooden shed and nothing like the cheep flimsy big brand DIY shop equivalent. We choose one slightly smaller than its predecessor in order to gain access all around for its construction, and for the doors to open facing a particular direction. Ok, few people could erect one of these sheds as quick as the "Keter" web site video demo's, but the instructions were clear easy to follow and my husband and I managed without any issues. Two is the minimum needed to erect one of these sheds for ease. One person can't hold large sections in place and secure them at the same time. The double doors provide easy access to the full width of the shed. The opaque Window and the sky light running the depth of the roof makes the interior much lighter and user friendly. so far the surface of the shed has been easy to clean even when accidently splashed with some fence paint. The colour and design of the shed has lightened the corner of the garden making it more of a feature than previously. My husband has installed a shed alarm for peace of mind as requested by myself. Now I just think Why did I wait so long to change it? May be for the designers of the shed a more sturdy locking system incorporating both doors and the main structure of the shed for increased security would be the icing on the cake for me. I did find if difficult to find some were to view the "Keter" sheds before ordering. Also finding the best price (at "Amazon") for such a long term investment worth doing your homework. The delivery was arranged by phone for a mutually convenient time with approximately 20mins notice before it's arrival, very helpful and the staff very friendly. If this had been my first shed purchase it would probably be my only purchase with out the need for additional maintenance costs being needed over the years.
